Principal's Message

Dear Falcon Families:
I want to welcome you all back to CCMS and extend a special greeting to the new parents at all grade levels who will be joining us this school year. The CCMS campus is bustling and looking very different than it has been in the past. We are very excited to watch our new campus grow out of the ground. This year, your students will see many changes on our campus, and we will do our best to share those changes with you as soon as we can.
Our instructional staff this year will be almost the same with two slight changes. Joining us will be a new 8th-grade math teacher and a special-education teacher. We will also welcome a teacher transfer within the district and one new instructional paraprofessional to our team. These additions, along with our already strong staff, are very excited to welcome your students back.
Our 1st day of school for 6th graders will be a half-day on the 19th of August. We welcome students and parents for the start of this day. Students will tour the campus and get adjusted to schedules by participating in a walkthrough of their school routine. Parents will have time to ask questions to help ease their transition as well. 6th-graders will complete their first day by 12:25 pm and return the next day for a regularly scheduled day.
Tuesday the 20th will be a full day of school for everyone, doors will open for breakfast at 7:25 am, and students will be dismissed at 3:25 pm.
School times have changed across the district this year, important times for CCMS are below.
Breakfast served at 7:25 am
1st bell at 7:50 am
Tardy bell at 7:55 am
Final bell at 3:25 pm
Half-days end at 12:25 pm
Early release days end at 1:25 pm
As always, the staff of CCMS is proud you have chosen to let us take care of your students again this year. We have been working hard all summer to ensure that your students will have a great school year. We look forward to seeing them all very soon.
